DIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENTS IN OSWEGO, IL
At Midwest Healthcare and Physical Medicine, we’re proud to offer state-of-the-art diagnostic assessments to our patients. It’s through careful testing—using proven methods—that we’re able to deliver more accurate and precise diagnoses, which, in turn, allows us to provide exceptional healthcare.
For your convenience, diagnostic testing is provided onsite—making the patient experience much more enjoyable for you and eliminating the need to travel to different locations in order to get the appropriate assessment.
The following is a list of the diagnostic assessment services our doctors provide:
Allergy and Immune Response Testing (ALCAT): Food allergies and intolerances are responsible for a number of physical problems, including fatigue and inflammation. With the ALCAT test, we can determine if allergic reactions are affecting your health.
Electromyography (EMG) testing: This test identifies irregular electrical activity in the muscles, which may be a symptom of inflammation, pinched nerves, and other muscle disorders.
Hormone and Adrenal testing: A hormone imbalance can cause a number of serious symptoms. This test is used to assess cortisol as well as DHEA-S average.
Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) testing: Using electrical stimulation to assess the nervous system, this test is used to diagnose peripheral neuropathy, sciatica and other nerve disorders.
Ultrasound: This test uses sound waves to evaluate the internal organs.
Vascular screenings: Hardened arteries, or atherosclerosis, can cause strokes and heart attacks as well as impair blood flow to the extremities. Vascular screening is a quick and easy way to assess your risk.
X-rays: Used to identify internal injuries, our doctors exercise a high-level of care to use the least amount of exposure necessary to diagnose your condition.
